About

Eli Ferrier is a lifelong Nevada County, California resident with over 20 years of experience in all aspects of the trades, design, project management, land use, and resource management. His craftsmanship and expertise are recognized by the community and he has a reputation for clear communication, follow through, professionalism, and safety on all of his job sites. Residential energy retrofitting, historical renovations, custom builds, and land use projects are among his most sought after projects.

Eli has dedicated much of the last decade to teaching the next generation of young builders the trades and has developed 6th-12th curriculum available for CTE and shop teachers to purchase. He is a credentialed CTE teacher and takes his mentorship role with students seriously.

His love for whitewater boating, stewarding California’s wild places, and resource conservation is integrated into every aspect of his professional and personal life, and wooden boat design is Eli’s passion. When he’s not working, you can find him on the rivers of the west coast somewhere very far out of cell service with a smile on his face.

Eli lives in Grass Valley with his wife, Amie, and their goofy dogs. He loves pruning his orchard, playing guitar, and skiing and biking as often as he can.
